Assistive Technology Specialist and Practice Lead, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT

Abby Jayasuriya is an Assistive Technology Specialist and Practice Lead at Guide Dogs NSW/ACT. She has lived experience of retinitis pigmentosa and has always found ways to adapt to vision changes using technology and other strategies. She is therefore very passionate about sharing this knowledge of the blind and low vision community. She currently has a guide dog called Duke who she is inseparable from. Her hobbies include playing music, reading fantasy novels and doing blind parafencing.
